Old Photos
04 26 2006My sister found some old photos and sent them my way…
I remember that this was my favorite shirt at the time — I think it was the chicken-wire pattern. Apparently, I didn’t understand what the photographer meant by “smile.” But I gave it a try.

I don’t remember this shirt, but I love my hair. It proves I was years ahead of the curve on the whole “New Wave” look. I was doing this hair nearly a decade before Flock of Seagulls and their ilk even existed. And my hair needed no chemical assistance. I was the Babe Ruth of New Wave hair; Flock of Seagulls was the Barry Bonds.

In this one, I look like the obnoxious preppie villain in an 80’s teen movie that culminates in a big skiing competition. Again, I’m years ahead of the ski-race loser curve.

Big, big thanks to my little sister for sending me these pictures. I love my sister — she’s the greatest!
